Georgia - 4/5/2023 - Paragon Systems, Inc Protective Service Officers all across the nation are running so fast to leave Hickey's / SPiT-FA security guard union, it is hard to keep up with how many members Hickey / SPiTFA has lost and continues to lose.
The latest Paragon System, Inc unit to vote to leave and dump Hickey's / SPiT-FA's security guard union is the 363 Paragon PSO's in Georgia in another embarrassing loss for its current President David L. Hickey and his SPiT-FA National Organizing Director Dwayne Phillips. In this particular NLRB election SPiT-FA /Hickey / Phillips only received 19 votes out of 363 eligible voters.
As we reported in our earlier blog posts titled: A Nationwide Exit of Paragon Units from Hickey/SPIT-FA has Begun these 363 Paragon Georgia PSO's are just the latest group to leave the SPiT-FA Union. Presently we are awaiting the results of the Paragon Systems El Paso Texas election whereby 150 Paragon El Paso, Texas PSO's are now voting to replace SPiT-FA as their representative.
Back in December our Union, United Federation LEOS-PBA had filed an NLRB election to represent the 160 Boston Paragon PSO officers who were tired of the lack of service provided by Hickey / SPiT-FA.
In this Paragon Boston election, SPiT-FA / Hickey continues to try to silence these Paragon Boston PSO's freedom of choice in the election process to select who will represent these Boston Paragon PSO's with their most recent objection to our petition, which we filed with the NLRB.
"It's another delay tactic by Hickey / SPiT-FA aimed at stealing these Boston Paragon PSO's right to choose. We expect the NLRB to stop this action and allow the election to proceed whereby these Boston Paragon PSO's can finally choose to be represented by the United Federation LEOS-PBA Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association". noted United Federation LEOS-PBA Organizing Director Steve Maritas.
