Clinton Nuclear Officers Ratify their 3rd Contract with NUNSO / United Federation LEOS-PBA

On Friday April 18th 2025 the Nuclear Security Officers working at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, Illinois voted to ratify their 3rd contract with the National Union of Nuclear Security Officers NUNSO a division of the United Federation LEOS-PBA by a score of 66 to 9.

I personally wish to thank Joesph Thompson and Jesse Wordlaw our NUNSO representatives for leading these very tough negotiations and heading the ratification vote noted Charles Chip Strebeck United Federation LEOS-PBA President.

The Clinton nuclear security officers not only will they receive yearly pay increases but when they become a senior nuclear officer their hourly wages will increase dramatically. In addition to the above these Clinton nuclear security officers will see much improvement in their benefit package as well as bonuses and language changes that will give them better job security.

Presently NUNSO represents several constellation energy nuclear facilities in the Illinois area including Braidwood and LaSalle, and we expect several more constellation energy nuclear facilities to seek NUNSO's help when their contract expires.
